Transfer Student Scholarships at St. John’s University (2024-25)

1. Transfer Distinction Award
Amount: $20,000/year, renewable for up to three years
Eligibility: New transfer students with an associate degree
Condition: Maintain good academic standing

2. University Transfer Merit Scholarships
Amount: Up to $23,000/year, renewable for three years
Eligibility: New transfer students with 12+ credits and a minimum 2.0 GPA

3. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Amount: $4,000/year for active members
Condition: Maintain a 3.0 GPA at St. John’s

4. Service Scholarships
Amount: $2,000/year for up to three years
Eligibility: Dependent children of U.S. police officers, firefighters, or military service members

5. Fall 2025 Engagement Grant
Amount: Up to $500
Eligibility: Attend Admission events like Open House or Accepted Student Day

6. Future Johnnie Award
Amount: $500 (one time)
Eligibility: Submit admission application by February 1, 2025, and deposit by May 1, 2025

7. Stay on Long Island Initiative
Benefit: Full or partial tuition scholarships
Eligibility: Graduates of Nassau Community College or Suffolk County Community College

Renewal Requirements
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Complete at least 12 credits per semester
