Come On Over is full of so many catchy songs; it's no wonder it's Canadian country music singer Shania Twain's best-selling studio album. Released on November 4, 1997, the album was named best-selling country album, best-selling studio album by a female artist, and best-selling album by a Canadian.
It's the ninth all-time best-selling album in the United States and worldwide and the sixteenth best-selling album in the United Kingdom. The album has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide and shipped over 20 million copies in the United States alone.
Come On Over reached number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart when it was first released, and it stayed there for 50 weeks in a row. It also stayed in the top ten spot for 151 weeks. At the 41st Annual Grammy Awards, it was nominated for six awards, including Best Country Album and Album of the Year.
